Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 13th, 1913 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C.. Our 22 college educated founders created the Sorority with the intent to promote academic excellence and public service within the Black community. Today, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has over 300,000 college educated women across 900 collegiate and alumnae chapters worldwide all dedicated to Sisterhood, Scholarship & Service.
